The main development vision of a Gram Panchayat is to ensure sustainable progress and social justice to the lowest strata of society through a democratic process, by making maximum use of local resources and public participation. The mission of the Panchayat is to bring about qualitative changes in the areas of infrastructure development, agriculture, health, education and environmental protection, and to provide a better living environment for all people through poverty alleviation. The Gram Panchayat development projects are planned and implemented with the big goal of creating a model village that is homeless-free, fully literate, women-friendly and environmentally friendly through a transparent and corruption-free administrative system, while maintaining the unique culture and security of the country.
